Wooden Ring Workshop
This workshop teaches contemporary jewellery making and introduces new materials in traditional design aesthetics. The tutor will teach about different types of wood used in jewellery, and how to choose the best kind for jewellery making. Participants will learn how to cut and shape pieces of wood and put them together to create a beautiful and one of a kind ring. Bees wax and sandpaper are used to complete the jewellery making process.
Finished Product: One ring made out of wood.
About The Instructor : LOUPE RESIDENCY DESIGNER- Sinny Lam
Sinny Lam is a Hong Kong designer and artisan, she focuses on handmade accessories by using natural resources likes wood and gemstones.
Influenced by her father, an ivory craftsman in the 80’s, Sinny was immersed in an artistic atmosphere during her childhood.
