Lucinda Jane Dabbs

South African born, Lucinda Jane Dabbs spent four years at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town, South Africa. She acquired her Bachelor of Technology degree with Honours (cum laude) in Jewellery Design and Manufacture. She was awarded the top design student throughout her years of study and further showcased her keen eye for design by placing in several top design competitions including: AngloGold/Ashanti Auditions, Plat Africa, DTC South African – Shining Light Awards Diamond Design Collection.

Lucinda has since launched her own successful jewellery brand, Pretty Found Things. Known for its excellent craftsmanship and fine detail, Pretty Found Things jewellery is designed to be put on and never taken off. Beautiful and timeless, each intricate piece is crafted using solid gold, platinum or silver featuring rare gemstones and unique diamonds. Found and kept forever, there is something pretty for everyone!

After leaving South Africa, Lucinda spent some time in New York submerging herself in galleries and exhibitions across many different design mediums. Earlier this year she relocated to Hong Kong saturated with inspiration as she embarks on many new and exciting projects.

RESIDENCY PROGRAMME

Loupe's Design Residency Programme is a comprehensive mentoring programme with industry experts from the established Chow Tai Fook Jewellery, specially created for jewellery designers who wish to elevate their career and skills to the next level. During the period of mentorship, designers-in-residence can expect to develop their skills and capabilities in jewellery design in the fully-equipped environment at Loupe.
